First, I'll describe my skin: very fair with freckels, very fine lines around eyes and mouth that are only noticable when my skin is really dry. I have occasional acne, one or two pimples per month. I'm in my late 20's.
Originally, I started using the night cream back in November for both day and night and on my eyes. Within weeks I noticed a difference in my skin tone. My overall tone was more even, my skin was softer, and wearing it under makeup, my skin looked really good on the Christmas pictures. After Christmas, I decided to give the day lotion a try. The reason I put off on the day lotion is because the night cream was working so well for me and my makeup has an SPF in it, so I thought I would just wait to buy it. Well, I noticed a big difference when I started wearing the day lotion in the day and the night cream at night. During the day my skin was greasier, enough so that I stopped wearing it everyday.
The reason I didn't give this 4 stars is because I would liked to have seen more of the age spots/freckels fade.

My skin seemed to be irritated a lot lately. I am 42 and mostly focused on my tiny wrinkles of course. But with all my blotches, rougher looking skin and redness I was forced to focus on anti-oxidants creams. I tried this cream thinking it would do nothing for my wrinkles, no lift no firm etc. After one week of using it, I could not believe the result! It not only evened out my skin tone but sincerely removed my (not so funny) laugh lines, my forehead furrow & wrinkles and made me look ten years younger. How bizarre that a cream that has no peptides, collagen booster,retinol,lifting or firming agent actually does all the firming and lifting that other creams claim they do. I know have a healthy glow and hope and pray that Neutrogena will never d/c this cream and that many women will discover this awesome miracle in a tube!Customer Review: Neutrogena to the rescue!

Our home in Michigan gets very dry with the heat on in Winter. It can really dry out my skin. It was so bad this year, I knew I had to find an answer quickly. I've been a Neutrogena girl for years, so that's the first place I looked. The skin from under my chin to my neck was nearly cracked. I was BLOWN AWAY by the results I got OVER NIGHT! My skin instantly felt soothed, quenched, and that itchy dry feeling that drives me crazy in Winter was completely GONE. Not just better, and not in a few weeks... over night results. I will never be without my Neutrogena products. You have to try it to believe it. Also, the light night cream is like a long, cool, drink of water! This product is an excellent moisturizer (men need moisturizers, too!). However, if you're looking for a retin-a product, this one is not it. This simply helps to relieve the anti-oxidant environmental issues of our busy world. It covers well, and your skin wakes up refreshed, but I didn't notice any signs of age-reversal. Though I would buy it again, it's not a retin-a product which would help remove lines. I would recommend this to someone who lives in the inner city, the big city, or somewhere like California that has tons of pollution, simply because your skin feels great after using it. For both men and women, I would say this would be a good moisturizer in the 20-40 age range, when lines are not really your concern quite yet.Customer Review: Great all around product -specially for those who face acne issues

This is a great product all around. Specially if you have acne prone skin, it is lightweight non-pore clogging and feels nice on the skin. It also does what it says, your skin looks and feel healthier in the morning. I also wear it during the day -I tried the day version of this product and did not like as much as this one- so I continue to wear this and just put Olay DNA SPF 25 Super Structure over it. This product use to cost $10 (9.99) at the store...then they re-designed the box and now they charge $18...that is why I did not give 5 stars and that is why I purchase from Amazon with other items & get the free shipping.
