I guess that products affect each person differently. Compared to the other reviewer's remarks, I think this is a very good product. You do have to learn (1) how much to use (the "just right amount" to cover your entire face -- this takes some experimentation, as the tendency is to use too much), and (2) how best to apply it (first thoroughly rub the palms of your hands together like it was handwashing soap until it "fully dissolves" into a lather, AND THEN apply to your face). After two years of use, not only have I found this to be a good face-washing cleanser, it has actually MINIMIZED or ELIMINATED some growths on the side of my face. Now that is one fantastic, unexpected result!
