I used to really like this and used it with the rest of the Neutrogena system. about 6 months ago I batch ordered 6-8 bottles from Amazon. Having used the product for many months before that order, I noticed that the smell and performance was different. The bottles I ordered smelled more like witch hazel and I didn't feel it was cleaning my skin the way it used to. I have since looked for the product in stores and, for the last 6 months or so it has been off the shelf in NY, Chicago, and a few other cities. I'm waiting for a new and improved replacement but have not seen any new Neutrogena toner with AHA/BHA... does anyone know if there was a recall? Did Neutrogena stop makingg this product? what's the company's plan?Customer Review: User of product

I came across this product some time ago looking to replace the use of aftershave.
After shave always bothered my wife due to the strong smell and order as a result of applying to much. It was always difficult to apply the right amount so as to satisfy us both. The Neutrogena Pore Refining toner I find as a satisfying substitute, and one that leaves my face feeling fresh and clean without razor burn. The first thing I found as a result of using this product, it has a tendency of reducing the effects of rosasha. I've told others about the product and that I have been using it for some time now, they two have converted.

I've been using this product for a few years now, and I wouldn't go a day without it. I have acne prone skin and this stuff really helps to slough off dead cells and prevent breakouts. I actually use it as my main cleanser because soap can be drying and this stuff is very mild. Has a pleasant scent which is rare for a toner! I just use a cotton pad, wipe, and moisturize. Done! Easy. I've noticed a big difference in the appearance of my pores and general skin tone. I'd never used a Neutrogena product before this trial and was very impressed. There aren't many products I've noticed that, when used over a 10-day period, made much of a difference in my skin. But this one definitely made a difference. I tend to have very large pores and uneven skin tone. I noticed that my skin tone is a little more even and my pores are definitely not as enlarged and noticeable as before. I also have sensitive skin and this product didn't bother my skin at all. I have very large pores on and around my nose so I was excited about trying this out. I was amazed at the results. I could actually see a visible difference in their appearance. I was skeptical at first because I found in the ingredients that it contains alcohol and I was disappointed. My skin is very sensitive and I was afraid that it would dry out my skin. I used it every day for a week with no redness or dry patches. I love its smell -- real fruity and fresh. It left my skin feeling fresh and smooth without any dryness or tightness.
