Neutrogena's Wave Power Cleanser is a small, affordable little product that is surprisingly more durable then I had initially expected. Meant to be used as a powered, facial-exfoliator the Wave Power Cleanser delivers in providing a deep-pore cleanse job that surpasses any efforts you could achieve using just your hands and soap.
Within the box itself, Neutrogena conveniently provides everything needed to get started right away including a 1-AA battery and 14 cleansing pads. Setup and use couldn't be easier and overall I was very pleased with the results. The other factor that I really appreciated was the fact that the product was designed with water-proofing in mind. I've left it sitting in my shower for the past 2 weeks, use it regularly under full shower water flow and have even dropped it on the floor a couple of times and am pleased to report that it continues to operate perfectly fine.

This product is an enhancement to the rub and scrub method. It is a nice little perk, but remember, that once the pad supply is gone, you need to purchase more!! The Neutrogena Wave cleaner is relatively inexpensive, but you will pay in the long run for the refills.
The cleaner is not to be used around the eye area, so what that means to me is that I need to get another cleaning pad or a washcloth to do that area. So I am back to doing two steps again. There isn't a lot of soap sud in the pad, but it is easily changeable.
With a vibrating cleaner, going up and down, round and round, I get the feeling like I am shaving! Although the cleaner is "pretty in pink", it makes it easy to locate when you need it.
For the long run, skip it. Like I said, I don't like using it, then switching to a manual effort and cleaner for the eye area.

After fighting with the hand held wave power cleanser/massager in an attempt to install the battery (it was almost like trying to remove a "child proof cap" from a prescription bottle)I prepared for my first use of the item.
My observations are as follows:
1. The pads do not really "suds up" and left me wondering if there was actually any product in them.
2. The vibrating "massage" was pleasant enough and obviously was doing something to my skin since after the second use I noticed a breakout of a few small "pimples".(Could it be that it cleansed impurities in my pores and brought them to the surface?).
3. After a week of use the pimples cleared up and my skin did appear to have a more refined look.
Overall I would say that the product does perform as advertised. It is a "Power Cleanser". Do not expect that it will diminish your wrinkles or make you look like you've had professional skin resurfacing. What you do get using the power wave is a healthy glow from the stimulation the massager provides and a clean face. (What more could a gal ask for??)

We'd seen this advertised on TV & wanted to check it out. I didn't quite know what to expect as we've both got pretty sensitive skin. Both my wife & myself were delightfully surprised how smooth & refreshed our faces felt after using the "WPC". Even after only the 1st use just as they've been advertising. It's kinda funny because we've been fighting over usage as my wife says "it's girly & I don't need to use it". Is it really so wrong to wanna have smooth skin too? :P LOL The only thing is that it does take once or twice of going over your face before the suds really start to lather up, though using a little more pressure seems to help lather it up a little faster. Living in Alaska, the long dry winters can really take a toll on our skin. The "WPC" truely is a blessing. The Neutrogena WAVE is a electric cleanser and deep cleaning-foaming pads (14 day supply included along with a 1 AA battery). The gadget cleans deeply using deep pore cleansing tingly foam. The vibrating motion of the pad stimulates the skin's surface with a massaging action to open pores and remove more dirt than your regular manual scrub. Also, the textured pads subtlety sweep away dead skin cells. My thirty-something wife and my ten-something daughter absolutely LOVED IT! There are immediate results: softer, smoother skin after just the first use. My daughter suffers from rough skin patches, which the WAVE treats very successfully. To use the Wave, simply install a disposable single pad to the head and push the switch to turn it on. You hold the water resistant power-cleanser under running water, and light foam appears from the pad. Move the pad over your face, to massage the foam into your pores to remove dirt and makeup. The Wave is gentle enough to use daily. Don't apply to close to the eye area, though. One complaint my wife had was some initial difficulty locking the AA battery in place.
