Upon receipt of this item, I promptly gave it to my 17 year old daughter to try out. She is a competitive swimmer, and is always looking for better ways to clean her skin, which is often in poor condition from the exposure to so much chlorine.
She came looking for me while she was using it the first time to tell me how great it was. Being a true skeptical male, I told her to use it "for a while" and let me know what she thought. She told me several days later, after twice a day use, that she wanted me to find more pads.
Her comments were that she could feel her pores open up and really feel deep cleaning. She also said her skin tingled...not in a bad way, but in a way that made her face feel "invigorated". According to her, this is the best thing she has used in several years and hopes to use it for "a long time".

I was wondering what was wrong with just washing my face the old fashioned way I received the Wave cleanser. I was positive it was going to take longer and not have any significant advantages over the old facial cleanser on a cloth method. I'm happy to say, though, that this product is great because the time between prepping the cleanser and cleaning your face is negligible. The vibrations put out by the Wave aren't incredible, but they certainly didn't leave my skin red and irritated as I'd expected. Instead they were just a pleasant motion against my skin. I found that I enjoyed using this product better in the shower and doing so shaved a bit of extra time off my morning get-ready routine. All in all, this isn't a bad little product for those who are looking for a lightweight and easy alternative to traditional face washing.Customer Review: It takes some getting used to--but this is a great combination

Neutrogena soap's been a favorite of mine for many years. It's a good moisturizing soap that doesn't leave residue or cause allergic problems for very sensitive skin like mine.
I gave the product 4 stars only because I did start out uncomfortable after the initial cleansing. I had winter dry skin with some scaly patches and the first intensive cleansings itched a bit. However, those scaly patches are clearing up, my skin feels better and cleaner and despite little sunshine, my complexion is rosier.
This is definitely a product to try out--but be gentle on sensitive skin and don't get overenthusiastic with your first cleanings. You will notice a difference within about a week. Now, to see if my friends (and maybe at some point) the spouse will be able to tell that my skin's looking better.

Pros:
The Neutrogena wave power cleaner does fit nicely in your hand.
You can use it in the shower and it does get very sudsy.
The disposable pads are a nice touch. I use Neutrogena cleanser anyway, so it's a convenient format.
My face did feel soft after use.
Cons:
I almost broke a nail getting the battery cover off. It is VERY un-user-friendly.
All it does really is vibrate mildly. You still have to move your hand around to distribute the cleanser.
The pads go on the cleaning head well enough, but I can imagine enough use would render the velcro-like head fuzzy enough to be unusable.
All in all, I think better products are out there for a full facial experience. Personally, I think I will stick to Bufpuf pads or a washcloth.

The Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser provided a reasonable clean in a compact, battery powered package.
The Pros
The package is small and portable. I enjoyed the fact that I was able to pack it for travel without it taking up a ton of space. The replaceable pads are also small and water activated. The vibration is mild and provides a comfortable, gentle cleansing for the face.
The Cons
The lather produced was not sufficient for me. I like more lather for a deep cleanse, or the "power" cleanse promised by the name of the product. I didn't feel that this product provided a better cleansing than I would get from an old fashioned sponge and bar of Neutrogena cleaner. Therefore, this is not likely a product that will become a staple for me.
