I've used countless products for my face and not one of them has worked nearly as well as the Neutrogena Wave. My skin used to be so dry and flaky, not even exfoliating scrubs would work, even when i used them every day, twice a day. I used BareMinerals for awhile, but had to stop because nothing would get rid of my dry, flaky skin. But I can once again use my BareMinerals because my skin is SO improved. I've tried more than a dozen different moisturizers, ranging from cheap few dollar bottles to nearly fifty dollar bottles, and my skin was never as soft as it is now. My skin is smooth, moisturized, flake-free, and there's even less redness. It is a complete 180 degree change from just two weeks ago. There is one slight downside, and that is that it doesn't produce much in the way of foaming lather, but it doesn't mean it doesn't work, because it does. I would very highly recommend this to anyone. I noticed a difference in as little as one use, and I'm sure anyone else who tries it will, too. This product is very simple to use. Attach the pad, run under water, turn it on and start moving it across your face in small circles. It creates a nice lather and leaves your skin fairly clean, but I would recommend using a makeup remover before using this product. It's a nice facial cleanser, but as for removing makeup, it doesn't work so well. And since you have to avoid the eye area, you have to use another product on your eyes (I tried using the pad after I removed it from the applicator, but it just wasn't strong enough to remove all my eye makeup).
I also didn't notice an immediate difference in the texture and/or softness of my skin. Maybe after another couple of uses I will notice, but I definitely didn't notice an immediate difference after the first use.

To tell the truth, I wasn't expecting very much. I like Neutrogena products so I thought it would at least be okay.
It does clean your face. I can't vouch for how deep cleansing it is. You don't get the exfoliating or menthol sensation. The pads that came with it were smooth so I feel my face was wiped clean at least.
What I wasn't expecting were the smooth waves the Wave makes on your skin. It totally relaxed my face. I didn't even know my forehead was tense until I moved to clean my forehead. I believe this product stopped a tension headache.
SO I can't say if it really cleans or not, but it feels good!
The only negative factor about usage was trying to get into the battery compartment to insert the battery (included).

It is true that my skin was noticeably softer to the touch after one use of this product. Also the product is easy to use (insert battery, attach one cleansing pad, run under water to moisten pad) and after a minute or so of using it on my face, I noticed the foam starting. I don't have problems with acne or blackheads (finally outgrew that), so I don't need the product for that. The only problem I had with it is due to the hyper-sensitive nature of my skin. So even though it feels softer and tingly after using this product, it is also "itchy" in places and I had to immediately use my sensitive-skin moisturizer once I was done. For this reason, I probably won't use it too often (maybe once a week), but for a person who does not have hyper-sensitive skin, it should be fine.Customer Review: Power Washer

I'm kind of a splash some water, maybe a little soap and call it a wash kind of gal, but I tried Neutrogena's Wave Power Cleanser (pink) and really like it. It takes one AA battery, which was conveniently included. It is a small gismo that fits easily in my hand. It says to attach a disposable pad, hold under water to activate the foaming pad, then to gently massage over face. I was going to say that it felt like a face massage, but it felt better than a face massage, because it left my face feeling clean. It has menthol so it feels minty refreshing. It tickled when I used it on my nose. Before I tried it I wondered if it would feel like a car wash, but the brush vibrates rather than spins. My face feels relaxed and much cleaner than when I just splash on a little water.
