I use this scale just about everyday and I love it. I have not mounted it to the wall, so I can't verify the stability of that, but as a countertop scale, it's perfect. It's small and light enough to hang out on the counter and I can grab it and move it around the kitchen as I need it.
It seems accurate, and I use both the ounce and gram units as I need them for various items. I like that you can put a plate on it, then zero it out, so you can measure only the item you're eating, and not the plate itself. This helps keep it clean, also. All in all, a great scale and I will be buying another to keep at work!

Bought this scale about a year ago and it just quit working. I replaced the batteries, but the display is now so faint it cannot be read. I only used it maybe 20 times.
The manufacture placed information tags - not removable - on the bottom so if the scale is hung up, instead of a nice, modern silver-finish, you see the tags and it is not attractive.
The scale shuts off very quickly, so when you are packing and weighing multiple items, the scale has to be turned on every time - and it takes a few seconds to warm up.
The material is light weight plastic. Would not recommend this scale.

I wanted a scale to measure accurately in grams and ounces, to be easy to use, easy to clean and durable. This scale fills all those needs and has performed great. The buttons are nothing to worry about, the quality is very good and the scale is sensitive to very small measurements. The platform holds a dinner plate without any problem yet the entire scale folds to a small size so it doesn't take up much room. The readout can be seen over bulky items. It was just what I was looking for and I would recommend it to others who want a scale to measure food or other similar items.Customer Review: Doesn't count calories...:(

I purchased this item but returned it without using it. I was looking for a scale that would count the calories and other nutritional facts of my food. Unfortunately, this scale is strictly a scale in the sense of weighing the food. I'm sure it is a very good scale, but I really cannot comment on it's functionality. I can only clear up what the description does not: and that is, if you are looking for a scale to give you nutritional facts, this is not the scale for you. I will say it is small and compact and would not be obtrusive on any kitchen counter.Customer Review: Works great - I like it

This scale works -- right out of the box. I opened it up, put it on the counter and starting weighing my food. THe "tare" function works great and it could be improved by allowing a little more time to go by before resetting, but my estimate is it allows you about 20 seconds to replace the item on the surface of the scale. I use it in the gram/kilogram mode, the groceries usually have the # grams per serving in parentheses. You will know right away if you are going to eat more or less that one serving of food. And 1.5 servings equals 1.5 times the calories.
