I have used Nexus Therappe shampoo for at least 20 years. I will never use another shampoo. My hair easily becomes dry and brittle, but this shampoo does just what it says -- "therapy".
Once I was living in very rough conditions overseas, and the only thing available for washing your hair was bar soap. After 3 years of this, my hair was ruined: Dry, brittle, unmanageable, bushy, frizzy, etc. etc. etc.
When I got back home, I started using Nexus Therappe shampoo. I had doubts it would make a difference after 3 years of abuse.
However, within a very short time, my hair recovered its sheen and suppleness, I was amazed!
For some reason, at the time it never occured to me to use a conditioner, because this shampoo has always seemed to do the job, and it did that time too!
Great shampoo. I'll never use another. In fact, I started using it about 20 years ago because 2 women told me exactly the same thing!

The current Therappe is not the same as it used to be. I noticed the bottle changed but didn't think about it. But after I used it several people said wow you're hair doesn't look the same. Sure enough the old bottle instructions didn't mention conditioner but the new bottle does ! So I went around looking for all the product in the old bottles.Customer Review: Expensive, well worth the expense

This is, by far, the most expensive shampoo I've ever bought (I'm a guy). I bought a 2*20oz. bottles (shampoo + conditioner) combo from a brick store but, being a guy, I don't care much about the conditioner part because I don't have the patience to use it. This means that I'm using the shampoo only and the conditioner goes to waste. I wish I checked Amazon first but, somehow, when it comes to grooming supply, Amazon is not (yet) the first place that comes to mind.
Now, about the shampoo itself. It is, BY FAR, the best shampoo I've ever used at home. And this says a lot, since it's coming from 'a guy'. I'm not going to say what other brands I used recently but, with the Therappe, my hair is shinier, feels more alive, it's easier to comb. It gives me that sensation of comfort that the shampoo commercials like to talk about but, somehow, I've never felt before.
And, one more thing. I LOVE the pump solution. We have kids and, whenever they take showers in our bathroom, which is often, we find the shampoo bottles open and water from the shower mixed with the shampoo. It can't happen with a pump top. So, if you have kids, the pump tops are the way to go :)
It looks like I'll be using Nexxus as my default shampoo until something better comes up.
Note: do check the shipping charge before placing an order. Some vendors like to add 'an arm and a leg' shipping charge but some are more reasonable than others.

Nexxus shampoo and conditioner is your run of the mill almost good enough to be a salon product. My hair was just to dry for this product, I naturally dont have nice hair at all. If you want the best out there try pureology hydrate or Bumble and Bumble Super Rich. Another product that has made my thick, super dry and super frizzy hair change into great hair would be "biosilk silk therapy".
