Not sure why I even bought this lighter, except that I got two of them so I could give one to my son as a gift, and keep one as a backup to my super-trusty, always lights, never doesn't light, Colibri. It has a triple torch flame mechanism which I think is cool. My above-mentioned Colibri has a triple as well. Big difference is, the Colibri lights first time, every time. The Nibo almost NEVER lights!
The Nibo looks awesome, and commands respect. However, it just doesn't WORK as a lighter should. You know, produce fire when you 'flick' it. I even purged the inferior (so they say) Ronson working man's butane and bought and loaded some high brow Xikar butane. No change. Out of over a dozen 'flicks', I might get one light. And when you're trying to impress your friends by lighting their and your cigars, this just doesn't cut it. I followed the instructions to a "T" when I took it out of the box too, so I can't be accused of not RTFM'ing.
So, bottom line is, I wouldn't recommend this lighter to ANYONE. It's just too temperamental.
