In my experience, most incense is nasty nose-crinkling, throat-choking, eye-watering stuff that never smells like the scent it claims to be: And then there's Japanese incense. This is the second brand I've tried and I'm pleased with it as the first (though technically, while the Morning Star company was founded in 60's Japan, the incense is now made in Hong Kong, but let's not quibble-this is GOOD stuff!)
Here, you get 50 fine rolled sticks, marginally thinner than a small match and 12cm/just under 5" long with a burn time of around 20-30 minutes, and it smells delicately and pleasantly of the flavor written on the box, so you can breathe easy and enjoy the far reaching fragrance.
A tiny ceramic square tile holder with a pretty relief flower is included but you will need something slighty larger to place this on to catch the ashes.
