I LOVE this shaver. It's much better than the other Norelco wet shavers in comfort and performance. The wide head design rides comfortably on the face, and it shaves VERY close, especially when used with something like Nivea Sensitive shaving gel.
The only problem is the shaver will "crap out" and stop working after a while. You will charge it, and no go... What's happened? Water! Water gets in where the rotating drive shafts exit the head of the shaver, even though the design is intended to prevent that. Once water gets in, it interferes with the operation of the small electronics circuit board which controls the LED (red/green for on/off/time-to-recharge), the on/off button, and the recharging control circuit. Your shaver is dead.
But wait! If you buy the right size Torx screwdriver (no more than $5 bucks at the hardware store), you can open the back of the shaver and just put it on a sunny windowsill for a day, then put it back together, recharge it, and off you go! Works like magic. I've done this three times with my current shaver, and it just k-e-e-p-s o-n r-u-n-n-i-n-g! I haven't had to open it up and dry it out for over 4 months now. It seems as if each drying lasts a few months on the average, before it has to be done again. Not very much trouble for such a wonderful, wonderful shaver.
