Customer Review: I can breathe through my nose

I have been using these for over a month and they work well. I didn't buy these to stop snoring, but instead to help me breathe at night through my nose. My ent recommended a septoplasty, but I declined because of the long painful recovery that some people wrote about. I had tried Breathe Right strips and they worked, but these work much better and cost less to use. Sometimes I can feel them pop out at night, but if I'm not too sleepy I just put them back in.
Don't try and put them too far into the nostril or they'll make you sneeze. Put them in a hour before bed so you get used to them. After using these for several weeks, they don't pop out very often. I store them in the plastic case they shipped in to keep them flat.

Basically, this is a type of stent for your nose that helps you breathe easier and snore less. It works fairly well for me. I notice increased sleep quality. It has some pretty good traction bumps, but sometimes it falls out during the course of the night. The whole thing is made of some kind of silicon that may feel kinda stiff at first, but with regular use and cleaning it tends to soften up. Seems pretty inert. No strong chemical smell that I can detect. Functionally, I believe this device is not as good compared to some other products. But, it's great to have at your bedside when you want to crash right away and don't feel like doing all the prep it takes to properly apply a nasal strip.Customer Review: Worth the initial pain

It took me about two weeks to get used to wearing this at night. They hurt a bit at first, like a new pair of shoes. I originally bought too big of a size and had to cut them down to fit. But they saved me about $6000 in surgery fees. I had a surgery date and was ready to have my deviated septum fixed (I ran into a sliding glass door when young), but just for fun Googled antisnoring devices, ran into Nozovent and ordered them. They solved about 95 percent of my snoring problems. I cancelled the surgery. My spouse is delighted, and I have a much more restful sleep. I'm ordering another pair right now. My spouse told me I snored so loudly, she was surprised the neighbors couldn't hear it. I went to an ENT specialist, who performed a snoreplasty. That helped reduce the volume, according to my spouse, but it did not abate the problem completely. I don't remember where I initially found the Nozovent device, but my wife is glad I found it. She said it seems to do the rest of the job the snoreplasty didn't do. I find it very comfortable to use. Occasionally I wake up to find it has fallen out, but that may be due to the fact that it has lost some of its elasticity due to constant use. I broke my nose years ago in high school and it healed crooked, so I cannot breathe very well at night. In the mornings, I always woke up feeling tired, like I never slept at all. I would sleep with my mouth open and would have a sore throat every morning.
Nozovent has been a godsend. I sleep like a baby, with my mouth closed, because my nasal passages are opened and I can breathe easily and normally with Nozovent. I wake up feeling refreshed, revived and no longer have a dry, sore throat in the morning.
Nozovent is the next best thing to nasal surgery and a lot cheaper.
