Customer Review: MAJOR Shipping Problem

We ordered this product expecting to receive 12-3 Packs for a total of 36 refils. We were only shipped 1-3 Pack. While the invoice showed 12-3 Packs the Packing Slip that was in the shipping box had a quantity of 1 which is what the person pulling the order packed.
I contacted Amazon customer service who immediatly offered to allow us to return the item for a full refund. Instead I opted for a replacement, thinking that the problem of the mis-printed packing slip had been resolved.
WRONG! Once again the invoiceed quantity of 12-3 Packs was printed as 1 on the packing slip. This time I opted for the refund as the Customer Service Rep could not assure me that the problem had been fixed. All I got were the standard "read-it-off-the-screen" responces to my questions.
Amazon needs to correct the quanitity and description fields on the packing slip for this item so that the person pulling the order will know what is to be packed. It seems like a simple thing - I wonder if it has been fixed yet? I am not willing to test the system again - are you?

When I ordered the OFF!PowerPads from Amazon, I was amazed at the
price. I had just purchased one three pack at the hardware store
for $7.49. When I saw the 12-3packs for $14 I jumped at it. Well
when the package came, there was only one three pack. I sent an
e-mail to both Amazon and Uncle Joes saying I was shorted 11 packs.
I then called Uncle Joes and the very nice lady said there was a
misunderstanding and a mis communication on the product. She went
on and said they would honor the deal and the very next day I
received eleven more free with no additional mailing cost. Wow!
You just can't ask for better customer service and honor by any
other supplier. I wish they all were like Amazon and Uncle Joes.
By the way they are no longer offered.

I brought the 12-3 count of Off lamp and lantern product that was advertise for 5.87 thought it was a great deal. So I order thinking I was going to recieve 72 boxes to my suprise I got 6 boxes instead. And try calling the company Polsteins Home & Beyond which claims it has been a typing error. Yeah right since 2005 I do not think so. So I called Amazon today and they are going to take it to the next level and correct it. But since I see this problem since 2005 it will not be corrected either.Customer Review: Do NOT order this item!!!!!

The Lantern is a great item. This review is not for the item itself. It's for this Amazon listing. If you order this, you'll receive one 3 count refill, not 12 as is stated in this listing. For one, the price is average at best. I spent over $32(including shipping) for 3 boxes of 3 refills, not 36 boxes as this advertises. Don't do it! I love these things! They do a great job repelling mosquitos and black flies, although not in the 15x15 area advertised. Its more like 10x10 or 12x12. I use the lantern with these refills when I'm weeding my garden, camping, or sitting out to read. They don't do as well when the bugs are out in thick clouds, but are very good for medium or light amounts of bugs.
