Customer Review: Crossing My Fingers!

I have had acrylic nails for over 20+ years, but recently, the chemicals had severely damaged my natural nails. I have removed my acrylics in years past, only to eventually have to reapply them because my natural nails are chronically thin and break below the quick (ouch!)
I researched products on the Internet and "Onymyrrhe" came up repeatedly. Apparently, many guitarist use this product to strengthen and enhance their own nails. There are some quidelines; you have to use it daily and for approximately 4-months to receive optimal results. They say "It is Guaranteed."
This product was available from RM Overstock through Amazon.com and at a reasonable price. I purchased it several weeks ago. I use it religiously, but it is too soon to tell if it is working.
I gave a 3-star rating due to a couple of factors.
The bottle I received was labeled "Spa Destinations;" I am fine with that. However, I was greatly disappointed to see that the bottle had an "Expiration Date" in just a few weeks! If if takes at least 4-months to receive results and this product is due to "expire" so soon, how is that exactly going to work out?! All of the customers on the blogs I had read had been using the same bottle for 1-3 years.
Nevertheless, I emailed the supplier (twice) regarding my concerns. They did not answer all of my questions and were "vague," which was cause for concern. They stated, "I can assure you the product is still good; probably good for another 2-years. If you are not happy, we will issue a FULL REFUND."
Normally, I would have returned the item at this point. But when RM Overstock says "Full Refund," I am expecting they will honor the terms I addressed to them in my email, which will include: A full refund of the product in addition to the shipping/handling costs both ways and I will be given the 4-month period to see if this product actually does work. (I did ask these questions; would have been nice if they could have taken a moment to actually answer my questions and concerns clearly.)
So, another reason for the 3-star rating. The customer service could stand improvement. Also, I was charged $6.99 for shipping and handling. So I was surprised when the Onymyrrhe arrived in a small padded manila envelope and the shipping label was only .41 cents! The item does not come in the usual box and is extremely lightweight, but even with handling costs, $6.99 for an item that shipped at .41 cents seems greatly inflated!
So, I decided to keep the item because ultimately, I am hoping the product works and my nails are in dire condition. If the Onymyrrhe proves successful, I will gladly update this review and issue a higher star-rating...will keep my fingers crossed!
