Customer Review: Good support but not worth the $$$

I bought this backrest and was a little skeptical to spend over $100 without reading any customer reviews so I thought it might be helpful for others who are looking to purchase premium back support. I have been using the backrest for over one month now so I feel like i have a pretty good feel for the product.
Pros:
1. It is a good length that will support your entire back but not head, which is better than the other rests I was looking at purchasing.
2. The product is constructed very well and I can imagine this will last for at least a few years.
3. Material is very confortable and does not cause your back to overheat.
4. Lumbar support is good when used correctly with your back leaning aginst the entire length of the support.
Cons:
1. You cannot slouch whatsoever because the backrest will no longer stay positioned on the seat, even though there are straps to go around the existing seat. Even if you move a little the backrest will have to be repositioned which is annoying for a person who has to get up often or is a little restless.
2. The lumbar support is decent but not nearly as good as other rests that concentrate more on the lower back. Perhaps the pitch of this support is scientifically proven to be good for you but I have felt just as good if not better from rests that offer a little more support. There is a slight bend in the backrest for lumbar support but it is not adjustable at all and some people might need more.
3. Sizing can be difficult, I am about 6 feet tall and weight 180lbs, I bought the medium size rest, however I have a long back and I wish I had purchased the large. You really need to test out which size works for you before you buy it.
4. Item is large and can be slightly bulky to carry. I work in new york city and it was annoying traveling with the backrest if you need to move it often.
5. The price, I dont see why this product should cost as much as it does. It is bascially fabric wrapped around a plastic and metal board. Perhaps all the R&D for this product was costly, or perhaps obus had to pay a few doctors to put their stamp of approval on it, but you can find a rest that offers just as much support for $50 or less. I purchased a different backrest for $15 off amazon for my office in my apt and I feel just as good after using it.
I hope this is helpful for anyone thinking about buying this product. I wish I would have known this information while I was reading about various backrests. Look at the other obus forme backrests or less expensive ones from other manufacturers before you put down the cash for this one.
