I thought I knew everything about skin care until I used Regenerist. An avid user of Retin-A for years, I have pretty good skin and at 50 still look around 35. I tried Regenerist because Retin-A does have side effects and while it keeps skin firm and clear, the process can be a bit harsh - it dehydrates severely and though skin is benefitted, it doesn't always look its best in the process - if you get my drift. So I thought I'd use Retin-A at night and Regenerist under sunscreen by day. Well.
The effect of the Regenerist serum, after a couple of days of use, was this. I had one line on my forehead. A deepish one. It is gone. I was developing fine lines around my eyes (bought the eye cream, could not resist). They are gone. I had a sunken, tired look (I work very, very hard). Now no one believes I need a break! My skin looks beautiful. I will use Retin A again. I think using different products that are proven to work is a good idea, but I will always, always, always use Regenerist as well.

After one month of daily use, here is my verdict: This stuff works. It's not magic, it's not a miracle, it doesn't transform every wrinkle and age spot. But it makes your skin look BETTER than before, which is all we can really hope for, isn't it?
I've noticed a somewhat dramatic change in the fine lines around my eyes (no, I don't use a separate eye cream). They are smoother and much less noticeable. The few age spots I've developed seem to be lighter. Overall, looking at my face in the mirror now, I sometimes have to do a double-take because my skin looks so much better and brighter. The permanent dark circles under my eyes are even lighter.
I have acne prone skin and I was nervous about using a new moisturizer, but quickly found that my skin actually CLEARED UP while using this product. Likely, it was due to my regimented focus on skin care in general, but this did NOT contribute to any breakouts at all.
This is one product I can see myself using for a very long time.

This is a great product. I have been using it since it came out--a friend told me about it, and generously gave me the 3.4oz size, which I'm only able to find on Amazon! I've also bought the 1.7oz size. I definitely do see a difference in the appearance, or shall I say LACK OF FINE LINES around my eye area. I put this product where I have the potential to get creases or lines, including laugh lines. It is GREAT! I feel like I have found the "Fountain of Youth". THE ULTIMATE TEST: I see improvement even when I view my face with a lovely, lighted, 8X magnifying mirror!!! 'Nuff said?! Simply one of the best products in skin care out there today!
The person who gave me the product, looked fabulous, and I noticed that fab look immediately, and she said this was the product that she was using! Just try it! You'll see for yourself. And Amazon, please continue to carry the wonderful large size of 3.4oz. Thanks!
Customer Review: SERUM THAT MOISTURIZES WITHOUT LEAVING RESIDUE

I have used this product for several years, upon the advice of an aesthtician at an upscale spa. She did not try to sell me their pricey product, but rather, suggested that this would benefit my skin. This serum absorbs into the skin without leaving a residue. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft. I truly feel that it slows down the aging process by keeping skin protected from sun, heat or wind. After applying the product, make-up application is easy, with no "drag" and creates a protective barrier. I've intermittently tried other products, but this remains a favorite. Another selling factor is the price point: Every dermatologist in my experience has said that the "high end" products DO NOT produce better results than this serum. It's a great product and I strongly endorse it.
The only drawback to the product is that the pump does not efficiently dispense the product.

After seeing the reviews of others who have tried Olay Regenerist and raved about it, I decided to try the Serum and the Night cream myself. I have been using it for a week now. Though I don't see amazing results like some of the reviews I read I will admit that the skin on my face feels different. It's definetly softer and smoother, but I didn't notice any lift, or wrinkles around my eyes dissapear. I am 42, and I thought that it was time to try something different, so I gave this stuff a try. I think I will keep using it, and I think it was worth the money for the softer, smoother face. Maybe I'll give that eye cream a try too..see if that diminishes the crows feet that are starting around my eyes. I'll let you know. The night cream is nice. It smells great, and goes on smooth. Oh, one thing I did notice is that my makeup (foundation) goes on smoother and I don't have to use as much.
