I've been using this lotion for at least 5 years now... can't remember exactly when I started or how I was introduced but ever since, I've been using it! It's the perfect combination of moisturizer and SPF protection for everyday use. (I always use something stronger than SPF 15 on my face when at the beach or spending a lot of time in the sun of course.) It moisturizes beautifully and doesn't leave your face feeling slimy and oily during the day. I apply it after cleaning my face in the morning and let it soak in while brushing my teeth before applying makeup for the day. If I'm not wearing a full load of makeup, i.e. foundation, I usually follow it up with a few brushstrokes of Benefit's face powder such as Dandelion or Georgia for a quick and easy out-the-door look. I was recently in Tanzania for research and mistakenly thought I would be able to find a bottle somewhere along the way. Although there were many other Olay products available in the area I was unable to find this one. What a difference four months without this little gem made. I could see and feel the difference in my skin - it wasn't as smooth and clear as usual and the affects of the sun on my face without the daily facial sunscreen was undeniably noticeable. I tried to use regular lotion and a sunscreen during this time period of course but in confession, the days I was only in the office I sometimes avoided the greasy mess of regular sunscreen on my face which means I was exposed during lunch breaks and the walk to and from work. And yes, it made a difference. I was so happy to be with my Olay moisturizer again once back home and won't be found without it again! I have tried several other moisturizers with and without an SPF, expensive and cheap, and even other Olay products but always I come back to this one!Customer Review: IN TWO WORDS "TOTALLY EFFECTIVE!!

I purchased Olay Total Effects 7x Visible Anti-Aging Vitamin Complex two weeks ago and it is fantastic!! In just this short period of time, with once daily use, it has completely cleared up the dry, red, crusty, itchy spots between my eyebrows, the sides of my nose and the corners of my mouth. It has also greatly diminished the discoloration on my cheekbones and above my upper lip (this one looked much like a thin mustache, I hated it). I have tried bleaching creams, scrubs, etc., to no avail, but this product actually does all that the manfacturer says it will do. It seems to break down the discoloration and start to remove it first in the area which is not the thickest and goes on to the most prominent parts. This product goes on smoothly, is not greasy, absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and revitalized. It only takes a small amount to cover the face and neck area. I am noticing a difference in the reduction of the crow's feet in the corners of my eyes and in the smoothness of the neck area. This product has worked fast and great for me. I hope that others will be as satisfied as I am with it. I'm going to invest in other products in this line, such as a cleanser, and the night time moisterizer. Even though it cost more than I usually pay for skin care products, it is more than well worth it. In my late twenties, I tried just about every moisturizer I could find including rarified ingredient boutique lotions but my skin remained dry, hot, itchy, flaky, and I was seeing laugh lines around my eyes. I was about to give up hope until my mother, who likes to shop at dollar stores, came to visit and bought me this at the full $20 price. I have been using Oil of Olay Total Effects ever since. I am hesitant to even try the regenerist because I like this so well. On the occasions I do try other lotions, they never measure up.
My skin thanked me after the first application. After a few days, it looked better, was less red, less chapped. Within a month or two (or less, I don't remember after 7 years) I had no lines near my eyes, my skin feels soft and comfortable unless I abuse it. When I abuse it, this lotion makes it feel better. People consistently guess my age to be 5-8 years younger than I am even though I have grey hair. While they swear it's not because of the immaturity, it's either that or OoO T.E. lotion.
I almost never need more than a tiny amount the size of a pencil eraser to cover my face, neck and hands. (Keep the cap or it dries out.) I use this UV version in the morning and a non-UV version at night. I recommend it to anyone looking for a facial moisturizer that works as good or better than advertised. Absolutely worth the money.

I have found an introductory set of moisturizer for day, for night and the cleanser. Since the time has come for my 32-year-old skin to start receiving some boost to retain its young looks, I thought this product would help. After the first application, it did seem to make a positive difference but a couple of days later, my skin turned red and sensitive. I continued using the products for a week, thinking that maybe my skin needs to adjust (!). And then stopped, since I could feel a stinging sensation with every application. My skin was red and so sensitive, I could not even use my regular cleanser or a Cortisone cream, the only thing that would not hurt when using was a local organic soap and Nivea cream. Now the redness is gone, but my skin feels tight and dry and started flaking in random spots... You can only imagine how I must look. Thank goodness, I stay at home with kids and do not have to deal with the look at a workplace.
Now note, my skin was never sensitive and I was able to use any moisturizer. I am very dissapointed with choosing this product, I trusted a well known brand and a more expensive price.
Customer Review: Moisturizes but sadly no miracles

I have been using this moisturizer for a few years now and I really like it. It smooths on nicely, keeps my face moisturized without being greasy, and does not cause me to break out. I generally put on a light coat after showering and then mix the moisturizer with my foundation when getting ready for the day. One of the best things about the product is that at the end of the day I don't have that "I can't wait to get this stuff off my face" feeling. I also use their night cream (Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment) and like that too.
As for the anti-aging claims - who really knows if any lotion is working? This lotion keeps my face moisturized, so the lines probably don't show as much and the UV element probably helps too. Can't say that I look younger than before I used this product and can't say that I have aged beyond my years since using it either. It is effective, but certainly not a miracle cream. (When someone finds one of those would you let me know - lol.)
Effective product at a reasonable price.
