I bought my last shaving brush in the '60s and wore it down to a condition I would call heartily wispy. This new Omega shaving brush is thick and sturdy. If anything, it may take a little time to work it in--soften it a bit. It might be called a gorilla of brushes. I fully expect it to outlast the last brush, and probably me. A great buy.
