Customer Reviews of Omron HEM-637 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with Advanced Positioning SensorCustomer Review: Follow up comment Summary: 3 Stars
Though I don't own this unit, I was interested in the comments about the lack of software and an interface cable. I found the European version mentioned by another reviewer, but at Weston's, the British health equipment store, the Omron 637 with USB cable and software sold for US$243.36 (plus shipping). That's quite a premium for a cable and some software! I think pad and paper might work just as well.

The first one did not work so Amazon sent a second. The second did not work (meaning inaccurate readings) so contacted the manufactured who sent a call tag and then shiped it back saying it worked within specifications. If specs are 15-20 points off then they have a real screwed up product. Contacted Amazon and they took it back but with a 10% restock charge on a product that never really worked.

I am an RN & use this blood pressure wrist cuff often. It's accuracy is guarenteed by Omron & certified by the American Heart association. When a quick check is necessary or when people have contracted arms it is invaluable. If anyone has trouble perhaps instructions are not being read. I have owned one for 3 years without problems & am now buying it for each one of my grown children.
Customer Review: Easy to use... Summary: 4 Stars
This is the first blood pressure monitor I have had...I was a bit leary that I would have a hard time with it...It works great - the Advanced Positioning Sensor takes the guess work out of the location of your arm when taking your pressure.
The only thing I have a difficult time with is the history graph - but that could just be a learning curve for me.
Customer Review: Portable, accurate and easy to use Summary: 5 Stars
The HEM-637 Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor with advanced poitioning sensor is VERY easy to use, accurate (I have checked it twice at Sams Club and Weis), consistent and the case it comes in makes it very portable to carry with me. I recently went off blood pressure medicine and was checking my pressure several times a day to ensure it didn't spike. Love, love, love it!
