I bought this item for my mother and it has proven to be very beneficial. It actually saved my mother from having a heart attack. One day I came home and saw my mother's color looked flushed. When I took her blood pressure it was near stroke level and we had to call an ambulance to rush her to the hospital. Unit works well. The seperate printer is what sold me on this device.
Using 8 AA batteries seems excessive. At least include a simple charger that come with most electronices, including lower cost units, as compared to this one. This will let the user test it before installing the batteries.

This thing will never give you the same reading twice. You can take 20 different readings (within a few minutes) and get 20 significantly different results. In addition, the printer is flimsy and difficult to use. I purchased this to keep a printed file. What a mistake!Customer Review: life saver
