Customer Review: Does the Job; Memory Function a plus

Once you get the knack of properly placing the cuff (I had the help of my father-in-law, a physician), this product provides fast blood pressure and pulse readings. The memory function is particularly useful for keeping track of blood pressure and pulse. I would rate it higher if not for the fact that machine is very sensitive to placement of cuff - a 1/4 inch to the left or right can produce significant differences in readings.Customer Review: Accuracy acceptable, very quiet

The accuracy of the device in average is +- 10%. It is normal for these kind of monitors. To get more accurate readings I would recommend to measure your BP 3 times sequentually and to average the results. I also like the history feature. Per my opinion, it would be difficult to find something better for it's price.
I have also old AnD UA-767 which has the same accuracy but is very noisy and does not have memory feature.
Customer Review: Inaccurate Readings - Need replacement

Diastolic readings were consistently inaccurate when compared to doctor's office, over a period of four weeks monitoring 4 times a day. The readings were 8 to 10 points less than actual. But the doctor also confirmed that OMRON is the best brand in the market, and possibly I was unlucky in getting a "bad" piece...unless [...] is selling seconds! Please advise immediately how to get a FREE replacement product of the same model.Customer Review: Very very pleased with this monitor!

My heart doctor suggested getting a new monitor because he does not care for the wrist models. He told me that Omron was the best line. I didn't realize that there were so many to pick from! I finally picked the HEM-712C because I thought it did everything that I needed. At my next doctor's appointment, I was surprised to learn that this was the SAME monitor that my doctor owns! This is the second unit that I have purchased and is improved over the the first monitor. The original monitor lasted three years and was used frquently. I have found this model of monitor to be accurate but placement/fit on the arm is very important to get repeatable results. The cost was less than I found at my local drug stores and Amazon delivered the unit expeditiously. I recommend buying this model and Amazon.
