I purchased this unit after having borrowed an older model BP monitor from my in-laws. The large digital readout is very straight forward and easy to read. The instructions on the cuff are a good reminder of how to position the device on your arm. I have been logging the BP data into an iPhone application that is charting my progress. My one complaint about this unit... The older borrowed unit had audio feedback of your heart rate while the measurement is being taken, this unit is silent. That would be "a nice to have" feature..Customer Review: great product for the price

Just recently received and started using the Omron BP monitor and it works great. I am a smaller person 5'2, 136lbs and found that the cuff fit very comfortably for me. I believe it would fit well on a medium sized arm as well. It gave me accurate readings from the very beginning and was easy to set up and use. After using the Omron HEM 712C im glad that I bought an automatic bp monitor. This is my first time using a home bp monitor but it definitely felt Doctor grade, approved. Great Price for the abilities of this product!Customer Review: Wonderful accuracy

I bought this Omron blood pressure monitor for my in-laws as a gift and this was considered as most wise decision. Before sending to my in laws I took to my PCP to make sure the reading are correct. Again my father-in-law went to his primary care to verify. All the time monitor shows correct measurement and this is no doubt a must buy to monitor and regulate and control blood pressure for any age group.
Should mention that delivery was prompt as expected just before the date of in-laws marriage anniversary.

IRREGULAR HEARTBEATS.. WELL SURPRISE SURPRISE.... MY HEART IS IRREG . DR
SAYS WITH SOME TESTS FIXABLE OR CUREABLE...BUT WE DIDNT EVEN KNOW THIS

The buttons on mine are not quite the same as pictured, and are quite easy to use. Display is easy to read. I love the memory function. I can go back and see readings from previous days and see if there is a trend.
I find the "average" function useless. It only averages readings done within a short amount of time of each other (30 minutes?). I would rather get an average over a longer period of time to see what my "normal" is. I'm not sure if any other monitor offers that option.
