This pedometer does exactly the job I expected. It takes a few minutes to set up -- time, weight, stride, etc. -- but then seems to measure and calculate accurately. As billed, it resets each day at midnight but keeps the data in storage for downloading. The only problem: I lost it after wearing it for a few days (my fault, :-( ) so I'm planning to buy another.Customer Review: Nice Pedometer

This works well. I like the auto reset at night. The only issue for me is that it counts bumps while driving unless I unclip it and lay it flat in the car. Also, the clip keeps coming loose from my belt, but the safetye strap always catches it. That is entirly due to where I'm clipping it.
I wish the clock would sync when I plugged it into my PC, but after I set the time once, that was a moot point. I'll buy another if I ever damage this one.

I love this pedometer. I have had two different ones in the past and they didn't work that great. This one works flawlessly. I have double checked the count a few times and it's always withing 1% accurate. I got this to help me start walking more as I had hit a wall on my diet and exercise program. I hadn't lost any weight or size in about a month and a half. One week with this pedometer and walking has me over 20,000 steps a day, four pounds less and needing another hole in my belt.
I like this unit so much, I just purchased three more. One for my wife and one for each of our kids.
Very easy to set up and get it working. In fact it was so easy to set up, that I went back and read the directions again and double checked all the settings. yep, it was that easy to set up. All I needed was a measuring tape and a place to measure out a few steps.
Once you have that done, count off your steps to make sure they are registering properly and go walk.

I am just getting back into fitness again after extensive surgery. Which means getting back to the basics and having to start walking...and hopefully get back to running.
Anyway, what a fun way to set walking goals with this pedometer!
I especially like the fact that I can upload my activity from the pedometer onto the computer.
This will give me daily, weekly, monthy, yearly....readings.
Also I can set my goals and it will show how close I have come to those goals.
For those who wonder about compatibility with Windows 7:
I just followed the instructions for downloading with Vista....and it came out fine.
I am able to upload without any problems.
**You do need to download this as the Administrator of Windows 7.**
