I needed a stethescope for a project I'm working on and of course thought of Amazon that has everything. I was surprised at the quality for the low price. At first I didn't think it worked and realized I just didn't know how to use it. If you didn't go to medical school and don't know, you have to put the large side of the instrument against the chest or you won't hear anything.Customer Review: It works

For the price, it's pretty sweet. It does pick up some ambient noise, but not as much as others I've used. It's rugged, so you can leave it in your pack until you need it, toss it around, it's ok to get banged up abit. It comes with a couple sets of ear plugs, neither are all that comfy, but they're not going to perforate your ear drums (In theory?)Customer Review: worked great!

im not going into the medical field. this was definitely an impulse buy. i was worried about my dogs coughing which gave me the urge to purchase this to listen to his lungs and heart. received the item a day after the last possible day it shouldve arrived. anyways, this stethoscope works great, wish i only knew how to cure whatever my dog has.Customer Review: For parents like me

I am a mother of twins who happened to purchase this for the purpose of listening for any wheezing when my daughters are sick. I have used a stethoscope in the past so I am familiar with one and what I am listening for. The stethoscope is of poor quality. The heart rythums are faint when using this scope even after adjustment to fit ears, changing bells, ear pieces and swivelling the head. Different users of this scope had the same results. Omron Sprague Rappaport Stethoscope in Black.This Omron product is not recommended.
