I already have the European version of the UltraSmart, but needed a US version in mg/dl so that I can calibrate my US continuous glucose monitor.
They are fairly accurate and only take about 5-seconds to provide a reading.
I like the fact that only a tiny amount of blood is required and the monitor offers loads of features on the screen like trends etc. All of this can be uploaded to the computer with a cable, which is not included and must be purchased separately!
I am sure that there are lots of other good monitors around, but I'm happy with this one. Recommended.
