I just got braces a few months ago and this toothbrush does an excellent job at giving every tooth a precise clean. At first I thought it looked pretty weird with such a small brush, but it really takes care of each tooth individually. I love that it doesn't use batteries and I only have to charge it about once a week. One thing I don't like however is that I don't think it signals you when it is fully charged. I left it on for at least 6 hours with it blinking green the entire time. Other than that, this is a great toothbrush. My dentist scolded me for thrashing my gums by brushing too hard and for having too much plaque. He insisted I get the Braun Oral-B, which he said was the best of its kind. I'm glad I did. The design has a soft mode for people with sensitive gums and it has cut down my plaque, far better than had I used a conventional toothbrush. Also the device is easy to use and maintain so I'm confident I'll use it consistently. Finally, I must say my teeth feel far more clean and smooth now. There has been a documented relationship between plaque on your teeth and heart attacks, which is why I decided to buy this toothbrush. This model was found to be more effective at reducing plaque than other electric or manual brushes by a study done in England. I use it twice a day for the full 2 minutes and follow it with floss - it feels like I just left the dentist's office after a thorough cleaning. It seems expensive until you compare it to the cost of one dental cleaning and realize you're getting the same feeling everyday. It's definitely worth it!Customer Review: Like a trip to the dentist!

I bought this toothbrush for two reasons: First I read an article in BusinessWeek about how Braun's line of mechanical toothbrushes have been helping Gilette's revenues -- so I already knew about it. Then, my friend bought upon referral, and said it was remarkable and suggested I get it.This thing is amazing! I have cut down the time it takes to brush my teeth, gotten better results, and literally feel like I've been to the dentist each time I brush.
Btw, I highly recommend following up with a mouth wash (I use Listerine).

Not much I can say about a TOOTHBRUSH. It gets the job done. It's comfortable and certainly cleans my teeth better than a regular manual toothbrush. Also, the vibrations every 30 seconds help keep track of the 2 mins we should all spend brushing teeth. This sounds like an unnecessary stupid feature, but trust me, the moment you use this toothbrush you realize you've never spent the advisable time brushing your teeth, not even half.
Overall a good purchase, I'm happy with it. My teeth are cleaner than they ever were.
