What an awesome toothbrush! Not only do my teeth feel so much cleaner, my gums are looking much healthier and my teeth have brightened a bit -- all in a month's time!!
My dentist suggested I purchase an Oral B toothbrush (he suggested a specific model, which was cheaper) because I have a bad tendency to overbrush and brush too hard causing my gums to be brushed away. This toothbrush is definitely saving my mouth. The 2 minute timer always seems to end before I'm done brushing -- can you tell I really like this toothbrush? It's just finally nice to have something that works as well as this does that also warns if and when you're bearing down on your teeth too much along with the different brush heads and it intuitively knowing how to work with each of those.
I use the flossing brush head and the polishing head. Love them both.

This toothbrush is amazing. I had an Oral B electric toothbrush before this one that I absolutely loved, and I doubted that any product would be better than that one. But the features on this product are so logical and have been extremely helpful to me. I learned almost immediately that I had not been brushing my teeth long enough, the sensor on the LED screen rewards you with a happy face when you brush for 2 minutes and the face winks at you when you brush for 2.5 minutes. I find myself looking forward to that smile everyday. It has options for sensitive teeth that are nice and the unit itself is completely waterproof and practical. I brush in the shower without any problems. It is loud at first, but not so loud as to be annoying. I think this item is great and I plan to buy one for my family members soon.Customer Review: Don't Buy This Brush

I bought this brush system about 8 months ago. It worked very well and I was really happy with it--even got used to it telling me off when I brushed too hard or stopped brushing too early--UNTIL the Smart Guide started blinking a symbol at me. Turns out it wanted me to replace the batteries in the brush handle. Yes, that's replace the batteries! It actually has two rechargeable AA batteries inside. That might not be a problem, BUT you can't get them out on your own. You have to call customer service to get the location of a store to take it to so they can do it, and charge you for it too. Every six months! Add to that the fact that the replacement toothbrush heads cost around $8 each (and it makes you change those too) and this product just isn't worth the effort. Oral B Triumph 9900 Toothbrush with Smart Guide
What a great toothbrush! I had been using an older Oral-B which probably lasted much longer than it should have. (A very well built product).
When I got this one and used it I was amazed. My mouth feels great. My teeth look and feel great. My gums are getting proper stimulation, And I'm excited about brushing.
I thought having the Smart Guide was just another gimmick--but it really teaches you to brush properly, and for the right amount of time. I considered and researched the other brands,
but when it came down to the wire there was no real comparison. the Oral-B/Braun products are the best. Worth every penny!

i spent some of my x-mas and birthday money on this brush and absolutely love it. for the first time in my 53 yrs. of life, i enjoy brushing my teeth. i can really see a difference in the whiteness of my teeth too, plus the health of my gums. the only problem with it is the price of the replacement brush heads. but that should be expected with what i spent on the toothbrush itself. but i was lucky enough to find a super deal on the 'flossaction heads' that i prefer at only $12.99 for (3) of them. and although the toothbrush hasn't told me to replace the head yet (how awsome that it does this for you), i can see definate wear considering that i just purchased it on 1/1/08. maybe it's because i brush more thoroughly with this one and have never had an electric toothbrush before.
