Customer Reviews of Oral-B Vitality Dual Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush (Colors May Vary)Customer Review: Violence in my mouth Summary: 1 Stars
I have had a sonic elite electric toothbrush for years that works well, except that the last (very expensive) replacement head I bought was giving me trouble. After reading the positive reviews on this much less expensive brush, I thought I would try it. I barely lasted through one toothbrushing session. The action of the brush is so aggressive, my jaw was shaking wildly. I felt like I was in a torture machine. I am used to using an electric toothbrush so it wasn't the adjustment from manual to electric. This is just a wild machine. I won't use it and haven't a clue what to do with it now. After using the Oral-B once, I can see that the investment in the sonic is worth the money. In a word: ugh.
Customer Review: Green brush made in Germany, blue brush made in Mexico Summary: 5 Stars
Great brush!
I have both, blue and green, and they both work well.
If you're deciding between the two colors, remember that the blue one has a single, round, dentist-tool-like head, and the green one has a regular toothbrush type head.
The only issues are:
- It's a NiCd battery which means it'll have the memory effect
- If the battery dies, you have to wait at least 8 hours before you can use it, so either keep it charged all the time, or have a backup brush.
(If it matters to you:)
For whatever reason, the blue one is made in Mexico and the green one is made in Germany.
The heads are all made in Germany.
Customer Review: Now how does this work? Summary: 3 Stars
I suppose if I carefully read the manual that comes with the product, I can figure out how to put it in my mouth so that the two separate heads do what they are supposed to do. In the meantime . . . I do whatever . . .Maybe some day I will figure out the correct brush position. I have to concur with another reviewer that the head(s) are rather large and using this toothbrush in a small mouth (as mine is) takes some getting used to--and I am accustomed to it after a few weeks of use. I do not like it as well as my Vitality Sonic but my hygienist says the newer models are better. The verdict will be decided, I suppose, with my next visit for my cleaning.
Customer Review: Dentist-clean teeth Summary: 5 Stars
It's great to not have a tired arm after brushing my teeth. And in less than a quarter of the time it gets off the sticky film that i have when i'm lazy about brushing my teeth. It's so good that i don't feel bad when i don't floss daily. I'm saying way too much about my dental habits aren't i?
It also has a useful feature that signals when you are done brushing (at around 2 minutes it jumps on and off a couple times) which helps make sure that i get my whole two minutes in.
The charge lasts enough not to be annoying. But every couple of days you have to test it out and listen for whether it's rotating as fast as the day before.
Customer Review: I'm happy. Summary: 5 Stars
First time ever I use an electric toothbrush as others are too expensive for me. This one is more affordable and should give it a trial. Since I have no other comparison, I cannot say if this is better. I carry with me as I travel. I believe I can use in both US and Europe. If my teeth are cleaner? I guess it is the same just I do not need to move that much and there seem to have a timer. It also depends on what toothpaste we use. Mine is a good one.
With no indication if there is enough battery, I just keep charging it ever other day. Will this become overcharge? I do not know.
After all. With the price, I am happy so far.
