After using a normal 2-speed electric toothbrush I tried this one and at first I could not understand what was wrong with it. I thought that it was defective. But soon I realized that its vibrating speed is simply not enough to be of any practical use. It's a mystery to me why to design and make a product that is useless. I ordered this to replace my old electric toothbrush which had served me long and well. I found this to be very disappointing. All it did was vibrate. There was no other movement. It was like a manual toothbrush with a nervous condition. I should have known from the price that I would be disappointed. I can not compare this one to a more expensive model or different model because I have not used them. I have used other electric tooth brushes and like the Oral-B brushes the best. I am confident the results of this sonic brush is at least as good as the regular electric brushes. My dental hygenist compliments the condition of my teeth so I am pleased with the brush.Customer Review: 110 Volt Model isn't as good as the 220V model

I purchased a 220 Volt model overseas and like that one very well. This led me to purchase the 110 Volt model for use in the USA. The action of the 110V model is very sluggish compared to the overseas purchase. I would not re-purchase this one again, but I won't quit using it either. I was looking for something less abrasive than a regular manual toothbrush as I tend to be an agressive brusher. I was very pleased with this product and my first try at electronic toothbrushes. It is compact and I've never had a problem with it holding a charge. Refills are a bit expensive but the same is the case for all sonic refills across the board.
