Customer Reviews of Oregon Scientific PE316CA Pedometer with Calorie CounterCustomer Review: Choose a different pedometer Summary: 1 StarsI ordered 24 pedometers for a weight management class that I teach. 3/4 of the pedometers do not work correctly. The majority overestimate steps taken. A few froze and will not work at all. My group is very disappointed in the quality and has requested that I return them. I have used other pedomters in the past for my groups (America on the Move pedometers) and have had no problems.
Customer Review: Oregon Pedometer PE316CA gets a Five Star Summary: 5 StarsThis is the first time that I have purchased a pedometer for myself. I have really enjoyed it. I wear it at work and when I am exercising.
Customer Review: Great for the price Summary: 4 StarsIf you are looking for an idea of the number of steps you walk in a day or the number of calories burned, this is the item you want. It is not extremely accurate, but hey, $7, what you you expecting?
Customer Review: Good & Bad Summary: 3 StarsThe Good: The pedometer has a clock so there's no need to wear a watch, it shows distance walked in miles and steps taken in addition to calories burned. It has a back light, should you be in the dark.
The Bad: It's not the most accurate pedometer ever. You set your stride length in inches and you can slide a sensitivity bar to suit your needs, but it still tells me I'm walking 12 or 14 steps when I'm walking ten. I went on a walk today and it told me that I had taken 3657 steps in thirty minutes. I find that hard to believe, so I either need to change my stride length or this thing is defective/of poor quality.
I guess you shouldn't expect much for the low price!
Customer Review: Very Easy to Use Pedometer Summary: 5 StarsThis pedometer is so easy to use. It has all the things i expect. Like calories burned, miles walked, and step taken. This pedometer is awesome also to have a light, and time. It's very accurate! I'm not leaving this pedometer.
