I just got this pedometer. I have tested it while walking. On its lowest setting it overestimates my steps by about 5 to 10 percent. I have tested it about 10 times each time taking more than 100 steps outdoors. Everytime it has overestimated by that much. I am not very happy about it.
Well now after 3 weeks of use it has stopped functioning right. It now overestimates my steps by around 30 to 40 percent. I am going to give it back.

Ignore the review that says this pedometer adds steps whilst sitting on a table. If theirs did, it was faulty and should have been returned. Also, it has a sensitivity switch which should be set to low (all the way to the left). I've had mine for more than a year and it is the best pedometer I've ever had. We should all walk at least 10,000 steps a day to maintain fitness and this is an excellent way to monitor what you're doing.Customer Review: EXCELLENT INCENTIVE TO EXERCISE

You can't imagine the number of excuses I can come up with not to exercise - everything from "it might rain" to "too busy now."However, this gizmo is an excellent incentive for me to get out there and make tracks. When I can actually see the numbr of steps I'm taking and the calories I'm burning it makes all the difference in the world.
Only problem is my walking buddy wants to borrow it.

At this price, we got pedometers for the whole family. My 9 year old son has worn his every day since. It is interesting to see how many steps you take in a day. We did not set the pace length as recommended, but other than that, it is ready to use immediately - just clip it onto your waistband. Shows steps, miles and calories burned. My only complaint is that the front cover is a little hard to flip open.Customer Review: The best!

I have tried many pedometers, in all price ranges and this is the best bar none. I love all of its features. The design is great, you cannot reset it accidently, the back-lit display is readable and it is the perfect size for me. I really get a kick out of tallying my steps at the end of the day. Amazon just lowered the price too! I am buying a second one at the reduced price just to have it on hand.
