I should start by saying that before I found this pillow, I would typically go through a new pillow every other month. I would always buy the four-dollar Wal-Mart super stuffed pillows. When I am falling asleep, I always start on my side, but my arm always falls asleep and I am forced to switch to my stomach. This happens every night without fail. You would think that I would just start out on my stomach, but I guess I convince myself that somehow that next night will be different. With the Wal-Mart super stuffed pillows, I would have to double them up, or use two of them to prop my head up while on my side. It seemed like I could never achieve the perfect height. And even when my pillows did get just right, it would only last a week before they needed to be bent or folded again to a new position. This would lead to them getting completely deflated and lumpy after about a month of use. I did try more expensive, more "supportive" pillows, but I never did find one that lasted more than a month. And I know this sound cheesy, but that was until I found this "miracle". I LOVE this pillow. Shipping on it is waaaaaaay overpriced, but it has been totally worth it. I can now sleep on my side, without my arms falling asleep. If anyone is reading this, it really does work. There are some nights where my arm does still fall asleep, but it now a rare occurrence. I've had the pillow for over a year and it still works perfectly. The buckwheat hulls have compacted over time. I looked about getting more filler, but I just couldn't justify the ridiculous shipping price. But I need to reiterate, the pillow still works perfect. It takes me about five seconds to adjust it exactly how I want it. I will say that I researched this pillow before I bought it (I research everything to a ridiculous amount before I buy anything... drives my wife crazy). This pillow really is as good as everyone says it is. It is not too loud. I will say that I don't notice it being any cooler than any other pillow I've ever used. Anyway, I believe this is the first review I have ever given anything on Amazon.com. I know this is just a pillow, but it really is one of the best purchases I have ever made. Totally worth it. The only downside is that I have a very hard time adjusting to hotel room pillows now. I have to revert to the whole side-to-stomach routine from before. Anyway, buy this pillow (I feel like I should be getting a free shipping coupon or something).
