This is the second buckwheat pillow I have purchased. The first was an overpriced "Sobakawa" bought from an infomercial. That first pillow convinced me that buckwheat gave far superior head stability and comfort over foam pillows. But it was undersized, insufficiently filled, and permanently sealed so one could not change the amount of buckwheat husks in it.
This pillow on the other hand costs less, is much better made, and the amount of husks in it can be easily changed to suit your preference. Side sleepers will want more husks than back-sleepers to get proper spinal alignment. How firm or soft your mattress is can also be a factor. I can recommend this pillow without reservation for its adjustability and for the superior quality of its construction. Five stars well-earned!

This pillow will blow you away. I bought a buckwheat pillow some years back as "seen on TV" and liked the support it gave me. I had one problem though, it was poorly made and the sewn seam came apart and made a huge mess all over my bed. I patched it up and put it in a "pillow protector" and made due. My wife made the mistake of washing the pillow, 72 bean instructions say do NOT do this, and so I began my search to replace my beloved pillow. After checking several sites I decided to order the 72 Bean Queen sized pillow. It was delivered and boy was I supprised. This pillow is VERY well made. It weighs a ton because of the size but is so well made it should last for three or four times longer than the ones shone on TV years ago. Worth every penny!!!Customer Review: Totally worth it!

I was a little hesitant to spend that much on a pillow (60 bucks - that's including S&H), but it was worth it! I got the Queen size, and it's much bigger than I expected.
I have been in search for the perfect pillow for years - I have fibromyalgia and a lot of neck/shoulder pain. I had a sobakawa brand pillow many years ago, I liked it, but it seemed a little dirty to me. I always seemed to go back to it though... until I finally threw it away a while back.
This Organic buckwheat pillow is just perfect though! It's clean, it's got plenty buckwheat hulls in it so it's very adjustable, it stays cool, it has no smell, it's SO comfortable, etc... I cannot say enough about it. I highly recommend it! :)

Finally, neck relief! I have had a buckwheat pillow in the past, and it was very helpful with my neck problems. I have tried other pillows over the years but nothing seemed to work like the buckwheat so I decided to go back. The quality of the pillow I just received from Beans72 surpasses what I had in the past. The buckwheat pillow I had you had to keep moving the buckwheat around to have any support. This pillow is like a normal queen pillow and stays like a queen pillow, no shifting, and the support is great! I will never go back! In fact, I plan on getting the travel pillow so I will always have one with me. Thank-you for such great quality and great service!Customer Review: Like a sack of gravel

I'm such a sucker for new and exotic products so of course I had to try a buckwheat pillow (and a big expensive organic one at that). I don't have head problems, neck problems or sleep disorders - or to be more precise, I didn't have any of these issues until I spent the night trying to sleep on this godawful sack of gravel. I don't think I slept even five minutes straight so I had a splitting headache all the next day. I gave it to my husband to see what he thought and what do you know - he liked it, so it isn't a total waste. I'm still giving it one star because I'm writing the review and I think this pillow is evil.
