I bought this pillow for my toddler son, it fits perfectly in the toddler sized pillow case. He loves it and so do I. When it's time to buy a new pillow for myself I will by the adult sized one. My husband finds the pillow a little hard but he can always take some of the buckwheat out to make it softer. So yes the pillow is more on the firm side, which my son and I like.
