Customer Review: High Quality but Taste Terrible

My husband used to take low quality Orange Metamucil and had good results. I'm huge into living a holistic lifestyle and have begged him for years to try a quality version of Metamucil. Most all psyillium is from India where they use a lot of pesticides so if it isnt organic then you are consuming a lot of neurotoxins. 1st if you like the taste of Metamucil don't expect this stuff to taste anything like it. I'm surprised the other reviewers liked the flavor. He said one of the reasons Metamucil worked so well is because it tasted like Tang and he looked forward to taking it every night. Now, he gags getting this stuff down and has to be reminded to take it. Needless to say, he hates the flavor. I will try to find another alternative for him. I use Organic India Chocolate flavor Fiber Harmony and love it.
Update: Although he says he's still going back to crappy Metamucil, he now thinks it okay with some added orange flavored stevia.
