This was ordered for a nurse on our staff who wanted an instrument for home use, but did not want to pay for a professional quality otoscope. She liked it so much she uses it in her work now and has ordered another one for home. Several of our other nurses have also ordered this as they say the view is as good as the professional units but that they prefer this unit because of its smaller size and lighter weight.Customer Review: easy to use, careful with some of the attachments

All 3 of my kids have had ear problems so I am very careful about checking their ears. This otoscope has a decent light and different sized viewing "funnels". They all work fine but I would caution against using the long, thin one with toddlers. I've found that it can go too deep in the ear, quite to my 3 yr old's discomfort! I only use the shallow, large bore funnel now.Customer Review: Great product!

I ordered this because my 7yo recently had an issue with impacted ear wax. I was hoping it would help me monitor that situation and it works great! I also have a 2yo who is prone to ear infections. While I would never try to diagnose an ear infection on my own I can definitely see if he has redness using this otoscope. I highly recommend this! This otoscope is amazing. It is very clear so you can see everything magnified and bright. It's nice and small too. The quality is very high on this product. The price is so great but I would even pay double for this high quality otoscope. It's nice to be able to take a look in the kids' ears to determine if they have an ear infection, instead of taking them straight to the doctor's office. This device is bright and makes it easy to look in their ears. The informational picture sheet that is included helps explain what you are looking for.
