I bought this soap for my elbows and knees because they are very dark. I am latina and light skin. I have tried many creams and nothin worked. I have been taking pictures every week to see any sort of differences. I can't really tell because like I said they are too dark. I'm not loosing hope, I hopefully it works. I also bought Lactic acid 50%. And I use the lactic acid for about once a week of course I don't use the soap the day I get my peel. I have a problem with dark skin in sun exposed areas (neck, arms, etc) and so I was trying to find an inexpensive solution for skin whitening. Likas soap seemed to be the best bet with the reviews I have seen. After ordering I used the product for about a month and noticed that my skin was supple and radiant. However, as far as whitening goes, I don't really think it works because as soon as you stop using the soap, your skin returns to its previous state.Customer Review: Question?

About Likas Papaya Soap, I am an African-American with a perfect skin color Coffee with cream or caramel complexion, and so I don't want to get lighter; however, i have a couple of blemishes that I heard this soap would help to go away. Is it possible to just get rid of these blemishes for a more even tone without changing my complexion lighter because I get compliments from blacks and whites about my skin color. i have been using this soap for only 5 days and i can already see the dark spots on my face fading by each use. I am very sure that by the time i enter week 3 there would be little left to fade. It drys out my skin and kinda makes the spots fade by exfoilating it. I would surely recommend this soap to any one who has problems with dark spots its a very great soap just like the rest of the reviews says and am black so black people can also use it.Customer Review: Great soap

At first I was skeptical about trying this soap because I didn't believe that a soap could lighten your skin.. Well it does. I have a burn mark on my arm about as long as a flash light that I got when I was 5 years old, its been there my whole life and I couldn't find anything to get rid of it.. After using this soap it is barely noticeable, with continued use of the soap it will probably go away all together. This soap is amazing!
