My 3 year old sucks her thumb and when I applied this product to her thumbnail, it was as if she didn't notice and kept right as sucking her thumb after the product dried.
I'm going to give Mavela Stop a try. The ratings are much higher on that product.

they changed this product - it used to be very flaky so had to keep reapplying, but it worked while it stayed on. now it stays on, but doesn't have much taste. it is basically like wearing clear nail polish. completely useless.Customer Review: Doesn't Work!

I have been a nail biter for as long as I can remember (I'm 25) and decided to give this a try. It has absolutely no bitter taste. I'm going to try the Mavala product...the reviews are way better for that.Customer Review: did not work

I bought this item to keep my son from sucking on his fingers. It did not affect him, in fact he kept wanting to put it on. Lol.Customer Review: Don't bite your nails.
