I had Andis (Master) with 15 watt motor but had difficulty clipping my son's thick hair. I thought the 45 watt Oster classic 76 should have no trouble at all, NOT TRUE. The 45 watt Oster Classic 76 is not much better. I have tried several different makes and models but yet to find a good clipper.Customer Review: Will shave a sheep bald.

After having owned countless economy clippers that barely make a dent in thick hair I decided to go with these. It will cut any kind of hair be it thick, tangled or wet without bogging down or stopping (ouch!). Only downside is that they do get pretty warm after continuous cutting 30 plus minutes.Customer Review: Best Clipper Bar-None

This clipper is the smoothest clipper out there. I like my hair as short as possible without shaving and this certainly does the trick. I've tried other clippers in the past and this has certainly worked the best. My Classic 76 has already paid for itself in the short time I have had it. I *love* this thing, I can keep my hair extremely tight all the time without having to leave the house. Very happy, wish I'd have bought one years ago. Anybody with a buzz cut should own one, these things are awesome.Customer Review: Gift for my sister

Out of all the researching i had done, the Oster Classic 76 came out on top! My sister loves it and i will now have free haircuts FOREVER with these clippers! It cuts with ease through my hair which clogs most other clippers and also leaves a nice clean finish (no clipper streaks or stripes).
