This is a fine clipper set, but I'm knocking it down a bit because the shortest comb is not adequate. The teeth are spaced too widely, making it necessary to run it over the same spot several times to get an even buzz cut. We've given up on this comb; we adjust the bare blade to it's longest setting and cut the hair a little closer.Customer Review: Oster Fast Feed Clipper with Attachments

I use this clipper to trim my beard and it is soooo much better than the wimpy battery powered clippers that I have used and thrown away for the past 30 years. I wish that I had bought one of these way back. Battery powered clippers don't have enough power and they frequently snag and pull. Not this clipper, it's perfect!Customer Review: Great clipper

I was looking for a set of really good clipper for my other half. After looking at the reviews, speaking with professional barbers and reading up a little I decidede to spend the money on this Oster. Very sturdy and efficient clipper. Clips hair effortlessly. I like everything about the product except that it does not come with a carrying case or a sturdy storage box. I mostly use the clippers for cutting my son's hair. The half inch comb gives him the perfect buzz, while the clipper without the comb allows me to clean up around the edges. The blade does not get hot, nor have I had any problems with the unit, which feels solid and hefty. Excellence price offered by an Amazon vendor.
