The product works great. It arrived quickly and ready for use right out of the box. I used to cut my hair while in school and stopped because I enjoyed having somebody else do it for me. Lately, I assume because of the economy, my barber was not cutting as much of my hair as he used to in order to get me to come back more frequently. I bought these clippers in order to cut back on expenses. They were the best ones I could find on the market without moving up to a full blown professional model. First off, they were about 45% less expensive at Amazon than bricks and mortar stores and about 35% less than other web based businesses. They cut well. Have a nice heft to them and are comfortable to manipulate even for the back of my head where I cannot see. They paid for themselves after three uses! I don't ever intend to go back to a barber.Customer Review: Great quality clippers.

I have cut my own hair for the past twelve years. I normally always used beard trimmers because they are the clippers that would get short enough. After burning through a number of those, I decided to finally buy a real set of clippers and chose these after reading reviews.
These are great clippers and cut very cleanly without leaving behind stray hairs. The clippers with no guard and the blade on the lowest setting works well for cutting my sides short enough. The clippers are quiet without any guard attached, but does get noisy if you use on of the guards that come with it.
I bought the 10 piece guard set and they are much quieter and securely attach using a clip and spring. Granted I only used one guard (the shortest one for the top of my hair) so it was overkill to get a 10 pack, but they do work very well.

After going from cheapo to cheapo for too long, finally broke down and got a good pair of clippers. Did the research, went with these fast feeds, and boy do I love 'em. Me and a buddy cut eachother's hair at school and these baby's will be paid for in about 3 or 4 cuts. They're not magnetic so you don't get hairs clinging like crazy, and they power through both of our thick heads o hair. And they just have a nice feel, a heftiness, to them when you pick them up.
The only thing I would recommend is getting a good attachment set, there is a nice one out there by Oster that has metal spring-loaded clips so they actually stay attached, comes with a bag, real nice. Just get some extra oil, a stiff brush, and maybe some disinfectant at a barber supply store (or online I suppose) and you're set.

I have been shaving my head for 15 years and normaly bought cheap clippers. They would last for a year or so and then go bad. Although a lot of times It was simply the blade getting dull. But there are no replacement blades avalible for these cheap clippers. I finally decided to spend a little more money and see what the diferance was. Hear is what I found. 1. The fast feed cut about the same speed as the cheaper clippers.
2. It seems to have better construction. thicker cord ect.
3. You can get replacment blades.
4. It is not any quiter than any other clipper I have used.
5. I would recomend this clipper to anyone who will use it a couple of times a month. But If you plan to really use it a lot. Get the classic 76 it is a pro clipper intended for more use.

I decided to buy these based on other reviews, as I have thick/coarse hair. The normal consumer hair clippers just don't seem to be as good as the ones that my mom had when I was a kid. These work really well. They cut my hair fast without the typical uneven spots that you have to go over a few times as with less powerful hair clippers. As one reviewer wrote, they are indeed fairly quiet...but only without attachments on. Once I put one of the attachments on, they were noisy as hell...so noisy that I was glad that they cut my hair much faster than the last clippers I had. I don't know if I'll keep these forever, but they work for now. Why does it seem that you can't get something of decent quality that you're totally satisfied without spending $100 or more these days?
