I purchased this model sans night light and installed it inside a wall cabinet in my bathroom in which I had previously installed an electrical outlet. We had planned for this during our remodel, I have coveted it for years now. We also have our Sonicare toothbrush (best one, I am a dentist) in there as well. This gives us a clean look on the vanity, but it is always there whenever needed. It performs very well and is light and easy to handle, 2 speeds, coiled wire connecting the dryer to its base is easy to store away. Easily installs with the mounting hardware. I really love this compact handy hair dryer. 1500 watts. It has three settings: low, medium, and high (no cool air, but that's fine for us since low setting works well). I fell in love with it long time ago when I went on a vacation with my husband. Used it in the hotel and found it very nice looking, lite and handy. Having this mounted on the bathroom wall really saves space at home, especially in an apartment. I would buy this item again if anything should happen to it - knock on wood. In my old house, equipped with a small bathroom and four users, this device has made life better. It hangs on the wall within easy reach, gets the hair-drying job done for spouse, children, and me, and then easily returns to its neat, out-of-the-way spot. We should've gotten one of these things years ago. It doesn't produce the hottest blow-drying airstream, but it's quite adequate for our application, and a haircare guru would probably say that somewhat cooler is better, anyway. I got this unit for my wife last xmas, just 6 months ago.
She loves it but...
The night light has recently started acting funny. The "night" light will oddly only come on now when there is light in the room? And one of the little bulbs looks like it bit the dust.
Unit still drys OK, but the light issue is strange.

I recieved this hair dryer 3 weeks ago and I love it. My hair never looked so good, no split ends the high setting is not to hot and does not dry out your hair and the low setting gives you that smooth finish that just makes it perfect.It is easy to handle and very light.
I had the older model for about 4 yrs. so I hope this one last as long as I do use it on a daily basis.
