I bought these in conjunction with a pair of Oster Fast Feed clippers because I also cut a couple of friends'/family's hair that require the longer guard length, and the one's supplied with the Fast Feeds only go up to a #4 (1/4 in). I've got to say these things are pretty amazing. They have a spring on them that keeps them secure to the blade and wiggle free. Much better quality than ones that had came with the a pair of Wahls that I had bought the fast feeds to replace which were loose and were VERY noisy when the clippers were turned on(which caused me to buy the fast feeds) , and the stock ones, which were also better than the Wahls, but still had a slight gap between them and the blade, causing them to slightly move when pressure is applied. (Now the Wahls I had were a pretty cheap pair, so I can't speak for all of the attachments.)
Overall very nice, wiggle free, noiseless clipper guards/combs!

Having looked around on-line to replace a comb that was broken, I finally broke down and bought this whole set.
I had read the previous reviews about how hard it is to put these on (it's true). However, the thing I really don't like about them is the angle you are forced to use with them. The combs that came with the Fast Feed allow for a more natural position while cutting hair. These force an odd angle that makes it difficult to use.
They also don't replicate the cut of the original combs.
I also don't like the fact that they have metal on them. I like to wash them after each use and am worried that they will eventually rust.
I wish I had checked the local Sally Beauty Supply before ordering these. I ended up being a set there for half the price and they were the same as the originals.

Looking to replace the combs on my Andis Dog Clippers, I searched for a durable set that would fit any clippers in my possession. I have some 20 year old clippers that my parents had (that still works), and put the spring loaded comb onto the clippers. The fit was perfect and the durability of the combs was exactly what I was searching for to cut my Bichon Frise's hair. He enjoys getting his hair cut and the comb passed through his short hair with ease and without flexing like so many low end combs can do.
The hard plastic construction with the spring loaded mechanism allows for a perfect fit.
The versatility of the set, allows me to cut my dog's hair at any length, I choose. I keep my Bichon's hair short for the puppy cut style that limits him from matting.
Highly recommend.

The Oster 76 is a great clipper. It's one of the best you can buy - professional quality. However, if you want professional results you have to use what the professionals use. Have you ever gone to a barber and seen them use plastic combs? No, of course not. They change the metal blades for different lengths. If you want the same results you need to make the same kind of investment. Each set of extra blades costs about $20, but if you're going to spend the big bucks to get a professional clipper like the 76, it doesn't make sense to then add cheap plastic combs to it. If you want that quality of cut, you might as well spend 1/3 the money to get a mediocre Wahl clipper. If you want to get the best performance out of the Oster 76 and professional results, you need to use metal blades with no comb on them.Customer Review: Works well with Oster 76 clippers

I bought the Oster 76076-010 Classic 76 Professional Hair Clipper and these clipper combs so my wife could give me regular haircuts. I don't have a lot of hair left, but the combination of these two things makes it very easy. I have no problem with the clips. Although I wonder if I should have bought just a different cutter head instead as we only use the #2 or #3 comb. But for now these work fine. And after a few months we've offset the price of me paying for my hair cuts. I've offered to do the same for my wife but it's a no go! I guess the buzz cut is only for guys. The bag it came with is also handy to hold all those unused combs under the sink.
