Customer Review: Go with the metal blades if possible...

I purchased the plastic blades/comb set with my Oster Classic 76. The plastic blades work ok, but I am going to upgrade up to the metal blades in the very near future. Fading with the stock metal blade which comes with the Oster Classic 76 works so much better than with the plastic comb set. The plastic comb set is ok in the interim, but my recommendation would be to save your money and buy the metal blades because eventually you will upgrade and buy them down the road.Customer Review: Works on 50 year old model

I was about to buy a new clipper after the one my wife had been using on my son and me for twenty-five years wore out. I was reading the reviews of the Oster and realized that my wife's father's ancient Oster was the same one being praised for new sales. I bought the attachment and they fit the old one perfectly.
Maybe it should be under a review of the Oster, but her father was a barber who died in 1960 -- but his clipper still works perfectly.

It was unclear to me when I read the product description just how this set of combs managed to be "universal". They manage this by providing a sliding clasp connected to a spring to accommodate varying lengths of blades. I have a 20 year-old Oster razor and was a bit concerned about them fitting. They fit very well. The collection of attachments for the price is great.
Mine was shipping at amazing speed. Very nice quality!

I have the set of Oster fast clippers. They came with a standard set of combs up to #4. So i had to buy these extra ones to make sure i could go to higher numbers, The combs that came with the fast clipper are easy to up on and take off, however these, which are made by oster, are the biggest hassle of my life. It is nearly impossible to put on and incredibly difficult to take off. They just are not convenient. I would recommend something different.Customer Review: oster universal comb set 10 pc.

These combs DO NOT fit on Oster fast speed model 76023-510! The spring loaded mechanism on these combs is very difficult to use as well. Other reviews on amazon state that these combs fit on the model I mentioned above which is an outright lie. The combs do not sit flush on the blade they are about 2cm above the rear of the blade due to the design of the spring loaded mechanism. They might work fine on other models but not mine (76023-510).
