I bought this set of clipper adapters to go with my Oster clippers. Unlike the cheap plastic crap that came with my previous set of Walmart clippers, these have a metal attachment mechanism that seems like it will never break. There are many more pieces in this set than I needed (my wife cuts my hair using the #2 or #3 and that's all we really need), but for the price I bought the whole set and am quite happy with it.Customer Review: NOT Universal

I have an Oster clipper set, have had them for years, this set DOES NOT fit! Of course, I threw out the packaging as soon as I opened it and cannot return it. So I'm stuck with it, probably put it in a garage sale, LOL. Buyer beware, does not fit Oster Lucky Dog or the older version I have.
IF they did fit, looks very sturdy, strong springs and variety of sizes, would have been a great buy!

Thanks to a wiser and doubtless more patient reviewer than me, my earlier complaint that these combs do not fit the Oster Fast Feed trimmer proved to be completely wrong. Once I applied some (considerable) thumb power to fitting them in place, bingo, all was well. So I now advise other potential buyers to ignore what the Oster rep told my fellow bamboozled reviewer & press (literally) bravely on.Customer Review: What's not to like? But order a #40 blade for the electric clipper as well.

These combs are simple devices for getting a different length of hair/fur. I found out by looking at a video I had purchased last year that you need a #40 blade ($25.00 approximate) to use with these combs. That's another cost if you're going to try grooming your pet yourself. The Oster clipper that I purchased came with a #10 blade which isn't designed to be used with the plastic combs.Customer Review: Clunky and unnecessary sizes

Although these blade guards do fit on my Oster fast speed clippers it is clear that they were not designed specifically for the particular model. They do not slide nicely on like the attachments made for the clippers, but instead have a hard to use spring mechanism. There are also many useless sizes if you are cutting hair to be longer than an inch you probably shouldn't be using clippers.
