These strips are simple enough to use alright, but reading them is next to impossible. The color shade variations are so similar you can barely tell one from the other. How you match the strip to which shade is what makes it impossible. Most people can't tell a difference from one shade to the next. So unless you are the highest end or the lowest end, you won't be able to determine how acidic your body is because all the shades inbetween are too close to tell.Customer Review: Very narrow range actually

OK, so I admit that it's my fault for not looking at the bottle close enough to realize that the range isn't wide enough for my personal needs. I've been learning about pH balance for skin and hair. For example, human hair has a natural pH between 4.0 and 5.0 and products in this range are best. But since these strips only go down to 4.5, I can't tell if my natural, homemade concoctions are too acidic :(Customer Review: Works as advertised

I've been using these test strips since mid-summer and they work quite well. I've been keeping track of my ph levels ever since I was diagnosed with gout and now that I'm using Enzymatic Therapy - Cherry Fruit Extract - Joint Health- 180 Ultracaps I can see my ph go up slowly towards a more neutral number. I've never used the litmus paper, but feel no need to try those because these work very well.Customer Review: Does not work as advertised

I got these pH test strips in order to make a solution of water at around pH 5. Well, the pH strips seem to perpetually be yellow. The closest to green I was able to get them was by putting them in bleach, which had a known pH of around 12, and then the strips only showed a pH of 6.5. So these strips are extremely unreliable and I would not recommend spending anything on them.Customer Review: Easy to use

These were the only ones I could find that started at the lowest PH without buying a monitor. The ones at our health store didn't even start out in the 4's. We are using them for TTC and they are working great to keep track of our PH. They are the strips wit the two indicators on them and not the one indicator like it is pictured but for me they are still easy to use.
