Customer Reviews of Pampers Cruisers Diapers, Size 4, 100-CountCustomer Review: New Cruisers STINK -- literally. Boooooo! Summary: 1 Stars
Cruisers were great. No complaints. Now suddenly, the mesh liner is gone, and when my son urinates, it smells like a CHEMICAL PLANT. I'm not kidding. These are the worst, cheapest things ever. And they didn't even change the packaging. I am so angry -- clearly they just wanted to save a buck, but the smell of these things? VILE. I have compared the old and "new" side by side -- old: nice smell, thicker, mesh lining. New: no lining, smells like chemicals, thinner. I will make it my business to write bad reviews about these diapers, because it's so typical that they think they can change something without telling the consumer, and we're supposed to pay the same amount for worse quality. Way to cut corners, Pampers. I hope you lose half your business because of the bad reviews the new Cruisers are getting. That's what happens when you try and sneak something past the customers. And PampersPattie, the Pampers rep who trolls on these sites and "responds" -- there's nothing you can say that changes the truth -- these diapers SUCK. And you know it.
Customer Review: Pampers Cruisers are not the same Summary: 1 Stars
I bought a box back in October and noticed they had a rough stiff feel to them on the outside and the mesh liner was gone. I was told by P&G that it a was a thing they were trying and not a permanent change. Well, the geniuses at P&G have decided to run with it and it IS a permanent change now - just in time for me to have spent $60 on diapers that suck. There is no absorbent material on the backside of the diaper at all, the mesh liner is gone, and they feel stiff instead of soft. I called P&G and spoke with customer relations and emphatically voiced my anger over this move - I have been using these diapers for years on my children and have loved them up until now. These diapers really are horrible. My son has been leaking through the outer liner and I never had that problem before this fall - and I used to let him fill those up pretty far sometimes. My other son is in Swaddlers, and I just bought a new box and they feel stiff too, and there also is no absorbent material on the back of the diaper at all! How do they expect these to work?
Customer Review: Don't Buy New Pampers Cruisers! Summary: 1 Stars
We were disappointed to see that Pampers changed their diapers without notifying consumers. The biggest complaint we have was the removal of the mesh liner - which was the whole reason we were loyal to buying Pampers Cruisers. These diapers give our daughter a horrible rash now every time she wears one. We have since switched to cloth and will not buy any Pampers product again unless they bring back the old liner. There is also NO absorbent layer on the entire back panel of the diaper! If DD is laying on her back, it all just comes right out the back side! They are an inferior product now, but still charging premium prices. I'd rather buy a store brand at this point, if I weren't totally giving up on disposables altogether! Very upset about this change. We used to love them, and have been buying them since DD was born - but no more.
Customer Review: good absorbency, like Swaddlers Summary: 5 Stars
Cruisers is our choice for diapers to use after Swaddlers. My son will soon outgrow the biggest size of Swaddlers (2-3) and will start using Cruisers. I have tried them on a few times already and they are pretty much like the Swaddlers, which is a relief, because the other Pampers option - Baby Dry - have very low absorbency and my baby was wet in between changings with them. We could not use even one pack of Baby Dry - so uncomfortable and wet. So, I was quite skeptical about anything by Pampers, which was not Swaddlers, but the Cruisers passed the test. They keep baby's skin dry, and seem to wrap well around his body to prevent unwanted leaks. They also seem pretty light, which means the baby's skin won't get hot and sweaty.
Customer Review: I love buying these on Amazon Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using pampers for my son since he was a newborn. We tried other brands, but they just didnt seem to have the right fit to prevent leaks. I don't know if it is a boy thing or just his shape but pampers are still the winner. He is 20 months old now and I have bought these on Amazon twice now. I think the price is about the same as in the store, but I love the convenience of having them delivered instead of lugging them out of the store with my groceries. Also, I always use the free shipping, but the product still arives consistently ahead of schedule!
