Customer Reviews of Pampers Sensitive 3X Wipes 192 Count (Pack of 4)Customer Review: Great for sensitive skin; packaging holds up to repeated use Summary: 5 Stars
These wipes are great. They are very soft and don't irritate my daughter's skin, who is prone to eczema.
They also work in the wipe warmers (when you pull one out, it pulls another one up through the slot like a tissue. The Huggies wipes I tried did not do that, and you had to fish around for a new wipe each time.)
Each package is wrapped in plastic with a resealable strip that holds up to repeated use. The generic wraps I've tried often are packaged in thinner plastic that rips when you try to pull open the adhesive cover, or the adhesive loses its stickiness before the last wipe is used.
I keep a package in every room my baby plays in. If I had one complaint it is that 192 wipes is really overkill for the diaper bag, so I put some in a separate container or plastic bag, but that's the same with all brands I've tried (and it's the perfect amount of wipes for the wipe warmer, which I recommend for anyone who needs to change a diaper in the middle of the night, or whose baby doesn't like to get changed).
Customer Review: Okay Product, Good Customer Service Summary: 3 Stars
With Amazon Mom this looked like a good deal and similar in price to the Kirkland wipes we usually use. I was disappointed to find that I agreed with other reviewers on the slimy feel after using the wipe. I also found the scent to be a little strong and it is also hard to grab a single wipe with one hand. The resealable tape is not as nice as the plastic tops that Kirkland has (it's easier to open and reseal). The Papers wipes did stay moist through the last wipe it was just difficult to open the packaging.
I noticed Pampers representatives comment (on Amazon's site) that they want to hear complaints directly so I called P&G. I wanted to explain I was disappointed in this product, especially in the quantity that I purchased them. They took my complaint and offered to send coupons for diapers. I was pleased with their customer service even though I do not like this product. Last year they took the comments of wipe users and changed the packaging back so you don't need to use as refills for a tub.
Customer Review: With all the chemicals, not worth the money Summary: 3 Stars
If you are set on buying wipes, these work fine, though it isn't clear that they have fewer chemicals in them than regular wipes, which is why professionals (i.e. hospital nurses) will say not to use wipes at all if your infant is sensitive, not even these "sensitive" ones; rather, just a soft cloth dipped in warm water. If this seems like too much of a hassle because of the washing involved, and you don't want to spend much money on wipes, consider making home-made wipes, which work surprisingly well and are very easy to make (just search for the instructions on the internet; these may not be good if your infant is especially sensitive, though, I haven't tested that). If you want to buy wipes, I don't recommend these, not because they are bad (they were thick enough, soft, and did the job), but because compared even to other regular wipes they are more expensive for the count, and aren't superior to the regular Pampers wipes, for example.
Customer Review: horrible wipes Summary: 1 Stars
I usually use Huggies Natural Care, and recently tried these because they were less expensive. They are horrible and I can't wait until we are out of them so we can switch back! They are very thin. I have to use two at a time to avoid getting my hands dirty because stuff soaks through one wipe so quickly. They also have a slightly slimy feel that takes forever to dry on baby's skin, which means I have to sit there for even longer waiting to put a diaper back on with a child who is already squirmy. They also don't smell nearly as nice as the Huggies product. My child also seems to have developed a large diaper rash since starting to use these, but I'm not entirely sure it's the fault of the wipes (nothing else has changed though and in 10 months of using Huggies she's only ever gotten rashes when we travel, which didn't happen this week). I definitely do not recommend this product.
Customer Review: Our favorite wipes, great deal with subscribe and save! Summary: 5 Stars
These are great baby wipes. Our newborn boy has never had a negative reaction to these wipes, they seem plenty wet, and always get the job done. There are 64 wipes in each individually wrapped pack. 3 of these packs are contained in a pack of 192, and there are 4 packs of 192 in the box. None of the packs have the resealable flap that everyone raves about. I don't really care because I have a small snap shut container that we use for travel. These stay moist even in the snap shut container for a very long time, and we live in the desert! They stay moist in our warmer as well. Far better than the other wipes we've tried (Huggies, and Up and Up) We've even stopped using the warmer because our baby doesn't mind them cold. He didn't like the other brands cold. This deal on amazon with subscribe and save is unbeatable. Great deal on a great wipe, what else can you ask for?
