Customer Review: Smears, doesn't clean. Huggies wipes are WAY better.

I bought these wipes because they were on sale, I had a coupon, and with Subscribe and Save, I could get them for around $14 a case. I normally buy Huggies wipes, but I thought that at such a great price, we could try Pampers instead. I'm regretting that decision now. First of all, shortly after I ordered three cases, our local Walmart dropped the price on the same item to $11. Secondly, these just aren't as efficient as Huggies wipes. I don't know if the problem is the weird, stretchy material they're made of or if it's their liquid solution they put on them or what, but I have to use two and three Pampers wipes where I could get by with one Huggies wipe. I don't even like the feel of them; the solution is almost slimy, like kids' bubble solution, and the material is really fuzzy and catches on dry skin... so gross.
For #2 messes, these seem to smear stuff around more than wipe it off, and no matter whether it's a #1 or #2, they leave an awful lot of moisture on my kids' bums, which can lead to chafing or rash. I was glad I had a baby shower to attend so I could get rid of one of the cases without feeling like it was a total waste of my money. I canceled my S&S after I used the first two wipes, and as soon as the last package is gone, we are DEFINITELY going back to the Huggies brand.
