Customer Review: Wipes not in re-sealable packages.

With Amazons new 30% disount on "subscribe and save" wipes and diapers I broke down and bought these marked up baby wipes here. With the discount I end up paying about the same as the local chain toy store and I don't have to take my two year old with me and inevitably leave with a toy purchase. Don't get me wrong I do love these wipes however the order I received does not have re-sealable packages. This is an absolute must in my book. Once you open the package the wipes dry out within days. Its fine if you plan on carrying around a big plastic tote of wipes wherever you go but I much prefer to simply stash the packages in the car, diaper bag etc. I've purchased Swipers many of time and they have had the re-sealable packages. I would assume this is a packaging problem on Pampers end but ultimately Amazon is the one who loses my business for this product.

I got this idea from my sister, who, with her husband, drive a huge, pre-packaged Red Cross truck into disaster areas. They were in Florida for a month, due to a hurricane. There was no safe water. Same when they were in New Orleans. Everybody used baby wipes. I am in charge of emergency preparation in this [tiny] area of California, where we have earthquakes, too much water [floods] or too little [drought!]. So [at my personal expense, even though I am age 73 and must try to survive on peanuts from social security!] I am adding baby wipes to our very limited supplies of first aid kits, food, tools for turning off natural gas, etc. Do NOT hope somebody else does this for you, when disaster comes, there is never enough to go around. Did a lot of research to find out if this was worth me ordering online versus going to my local walmart. It was. Check it out, and realize that if you are already planning to pay some shipping for something you want from amazon, this is completely worth it. Also note : some newborns have sensitive skin. This product may not work as well for sensitive tushies, but still recommend.

These wipes are fine - nothing special. What is VERY annoying though, is that pampers cleverly has packaged them in packs of 60 rather than the usual 77. So if you are a sleep deprived mom, looking for a new wipe that works better, you might just buy a case of these and then realize that something is up when you've gone through the entire case in less than a week! These are truly the best wipes ever! No crumbling, not too dry, yet not too wet either. This box lasts forever, and each wipes package has Pampers Gifts to Grow codes. The lotion in the wipe conditions baby's tender skin as it cleans. Fastastic product, I love it! I'll never use a different wipe! Highly recommend.
